I got the techniques for these tutorials from
www.xandorra.net. I'll add pictures when I have time, but for now, this is the best I can do.
P.S. These tutorials are for PSP
- Glowing things -
1. Add a new layer called Glow
2. Select foreground style as none and background style as the color you want the glow.
3 . Select the shape draw tool and check only the box that says Antialias
4. Draw a fairly large circle around the item you want to glow
5. Go to Effects, select blur, and click Guassian blur with a radius of 5 or 10
6. Repeat step 5 until you think it looks about right
7. Go to the layer pallette and change the blend mode to either dodge or screen (these are just the effects I use,
but feel free to try something new)
8. Lower the opacity of the layer until you think it's right.
